You’ve probably heard all the hype about chatbots lately. And if you’re like me, you’re wondering what all the fuss is about.
At the most basic level, a chatbot is a computer program that simulates and processes human conversation (either written or spoken), allowing humans to interact with brands as if they were real. They’re designed to make our lives easier by automating simple tasks, like making a dinner reservation or buying a plane ticket.
In this post, we’re going to show you how to create your own chatbot in just 5 easy steps. Let’s get started!
Step 1: Choose a Chatbot PlatformÂ
So, you want to create a chatbot. That’s great! But where do you start?
Well, the first thing you need to do is choose a chatbot platform. There are many different options out there, but I recommend one of the following: Google Dialogflow, Microsoft Bot Framework, Amazon Lex, or IBM Watson.
Each platform has its own strengths and weaknesses, so you’ll need to research to figure out which one is right for you.
Step 2: Request WhatsApp Business API.Â
For a WhatsApp chatbot, one must request the beta service called WhatsApp Business API or ask to use their API through a third party (we can help you speed up the request and approval if you register on our platform). Currently, direct submissions to WhatsApp are encouraged for medium and large-sized companies.
The application also requires the name of your company, the URL of the website and the name and information of the company representative.
Once your application has been reviewed and approved, you can start using the WhatsApp API.
Step 3: Define Your Chatbot GoalsÂ
Before you get started creating your chatbot, you need to take some time to define your goals. What do you want your chatbot to do?
Are you looking to increase sales? Drive more traffic to your website? Provide customer support? Run sales promotions? Once you know what you want your chatbot to achieve, you can start designing it accordingly.
Step 4: Design Your Chatbot Conversation FlowÂ
Conversation flow is the most exciting part of the chatbot creation. This is where you’ll determine how your chatbot will interact with users.
There are a few key things to keep in mind when designing your chatbot’s conversation flow. First, make sure it’s easy for users to navigate. You don’t want them getting lost or confused.
Keeping your chatbot’s tone and personality consistent throughout its interactions is vital. This helps customers create a connection to the brand. And most importantly, make sure it provides value to users by offering helpful solutions or information.
Step 5: Train Your ChatbotÂ
After you create your chatbot, you’ll need to train it. This is where you’ll tell your chatbot what to say and how to respond to specific questions.
There are a few ways to do this. You can use buttons, text, or folders to store your responses. You can also use images, a great way to show your chatbot what something looks like.
Remember that your chatbot will only be as intelligent as you make it. So be sure to test out all of its capabilities and ensure it’s responding the way you want it to.
Step 6: Link and install your chatbot on WhatsAppÂ
Once you’ve created your chatbot, it’s time to promote it! For your approved number, you can install the chatbot. You only have to give it a name, an icon, and contact details and link it with Talkk.ai’s platform.
So, you want to create a WhatsApp chatbot? Well, it’s not as difficult as you might think! Just follow these five easy steps, and you’ll be on your way to building your very own chatbot.
First, you’ll need to create a WhatsApp business API. Then, you’ll need to choose a platform for your chatbot. Next, you’ll need to make your chatbot’s logic. Fourth, you’ll need to create your chatbot’s user interface. And finally, you’ll need to test your chatbot!
